How do I create a virtual server in the VDC?

The vCloud Director user interface is available for creating virtual servers (VMs) in a virtual data centre. This interface allows you to completely manage your own VDC-creating a vApp, creating a Virtual Machine (VM), and powering on, powering off, or restarting the virtual machine.

Add or remove Virtual Machine parameters (from the available parameters). Import a custom ISO image, create server catalogs, enable internal or external networking as needed. Intuitive controls make it easier and faster to create infrastructure.

Creating a Virtual Machine (VM) requires allocating free performance resources and assigning them to a new server, selecting an operating system (Linux, Windows) and starting the server.
